Jim Ashley, Robert, (?), Floyd Stewart, Marvin, guest picker on the banjo.
After pickin' and singing in the Store for about 30 to 45 minutes, Marvin (seated behind the flag) asked if I would pick with them. When I looked at my watch it was 7:45 and he wanted me to be ready to go by 8:00. Wasn't until about the 2nd song before my knees stopped beating louder than Robert's bass. Then I looked up and saw "all the people who had come from far away" when I realized that I was playing in THE OLD BARN where Bill Monroe more than likely played. To the folks on stage it was just another Friday night of pickin', but to this 5 string hacker it was a life-time memory.
My apology to the lady who did a great job singing, the guitar and the mandolin pickers on the right ( both hidden behind the post) as we didn't get a chance to meet. Hopefully next year...
