is printed and ready to be folded, labeled and mailed. Members were asked to
stay after the meeting to accomplish this task.
Activities:

The annual pot luck is
scheduled for Jan, 28, 2006 at Woodland Presbyterian Church. Plans were
discussed. Harry McLellan will provide sound.
Regulatory:
James Johnson
Sales tax due Jan 20 is
$476.00. Bill Dutton will do the
2005 audit.

Grass Committee:

The GRASS Committee collected
fleece blankets and cash donations for blankets from MABA members. We were able to give 80 gift bags to the
residents of the Somerville Nursing Home in
Beth Mays reiterated that the
Christmas bags were well received.
The committee is planning to
make Valentine bags for the residents of the

song-writers’ workshop on February 11. It seems to be filling up.
On February 18, a
“banjo lick swapping” will be hosted by Brad Apple and Randal

Sharing And Caring:
Two cards were sent in
December (to Erna Wheeley and Walter Chandler) A total of 44 cards were sent in 2005.
Jo Edith Hudson is sending the cards while Loyce recovers from surgery.

Marty Raybon will perform on
Feb 10, 2006. Tickets are now on sale.
MABA needs a new committee to
be in charge of merchandising at the Lucy Opry and other events, such as jams
and picnics. No one volunteered for
chairing or participating.
Old Business:
Liability Insurance: It was motioned and carried that MABA
and officers should have liability insurance. John Fitzer and Bill Dutton will
make up the committee that arranges to have this coverage.
New business:
Grass Committee: Craig Yarbrough moved that $500 be
transferred to the Grass Committee Budget. Motion was seconded and approved.
SPBGMA: After discussion, John Gay motioned that
we approve supplemental funding for a suite at the SPBGMA convention in
