Friday Night Pickin' at Collierville (Church of the Redeemer)

Some folks may be wondering where all the Friday night pickers from the Collierville  Historic Town Square went when it turned cold. Have no fear! We’re at Church of the Redeemer (Episcopal) at 3100 So. Houston Levee Road, about half a mile north of Landers Ford on Poplar.

The jam is free and open to all skill levels. Our music is hot and the coffee is, too. There is music all over the church! The good people of Redeemer have generously opened the sanctuary, fellowship hall, Sunday school rooms, and all the hallways, for us to pick right on through the winter. Special thanks go out to the congregation, especially to Pete Spaulding and crew, for making it happen. In about mid-April of 2008, we will head on back out on the square for our ninth season!

Come on by this Friday night around 6:30-ish PM, and pick a tune or two with some of the finest bluegrass and old-time musicians in the Mid-South. We’re pickin’ up a storm at Redeemer in Collierville. All we need is YOU!
